You Are What You Eat: The Argument for Organic

For years we simply went along not questioning what was in our food, or how it was produced. This is because we simply had faith that there was someone overseeing this production that had our best interest at heart. In recent years, we are finding out that this might not be the case.

Certified organic foods are free from chemicals, hormones, pesticides, and other things that can do harm to our bodies. There are so many health problems that have been linked to ingestion of these things, that it is hard to imagine why anyone would not choose organic.

Though organic foods cost more than other options for the time being, as they become more mainstream, the cost will likely go down. This downward trend is already occurring, as more people are realizing that organic foods are simply the better choice. Not only are they healthier, but they taste better.

Achieving better health requires exercise, proper diet, and avoiding products that can harm us. Making the decision to choose organic foods should be an easy one, as they provide the nutrition we need, without the ugly extras. Chemical free foods are what you want for yourself, and is certainly what you want for your family.
